Psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples, Families, and Groups

A place for healing, self-exploration, and personal growth.

A place for healing, self-exploration, and personal growth.

Even in moments of feeling lost or weighed down by pain, therapy can offer a way forward, helping you gain insight, reconnect with your authentic self, and move toward clarity, healing, and lasting change.

Together, we can explore which therapeutic approach feels right for you.

Approach

Therapeutic Approach

My approach is integrated and connection-centered, with a deep respect for the relationship between mind and body. Rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based principles, I help clients explore unconscious patterns and relational dynamics that shape their current experiences. Alongside this deeper work, I offer practical tools to support meaningful and lasting change helping you build insight while also finding tangible ways to move forward.

I work from a trauma-informed lens, creating a space that feels safe, inclusive, and affirming.

I believe that healing begins when we start to reconnect with all parts of ourselves, mind, body, emotions, and history. It’s through this reconnection that growth becomes not only possible, but deeply transformative.

LCSW, SSW, CCTP, CMNCS, BCD

My name is Jen Kljajic, I’m a Licensed Psycho therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from many walks of life and all over the country. For over 20 years, I have helped individuals with the mind-body connection through physical fitness, nutrition, and mindset. My individual work with yoga and reiki shaped my somatic approach to therapy, deepening my awareness of the mind-body connection.

Over the years, I’ve also worked in educational settings, supporting children and parents navigating emotional challenges and learning differences. In addition, I’ve received extensive training in working with medical professionals including physicians, nurses and medical students experiencing stress and burnout as well as helping individuals manage withdrawal symptoms while tapering medications such as psychiatric opioids, and/or benzodiazepines.

Like many others, I’ve experienced my own share of loss, emotional hardship, and life transitions. These experiences don’t define my professional qualifications, but they’ve profoundly informed my capacity to empathize with both emotional and physical suffering.

My passion for this work is grounded in social justice, cultural responsiveness, and ongoing self-reflection. I believe true support requires not only compassion but also a willingness to examine systemic inequities and honor each person’s lived experience as well as learn about the power of our mind and unique abilities to grow and thrive.

I sincerely love my work! I hold a Bachelor and Master’s Degree as well as Clinical Licenses in 16 different states. I live in Michigan and travel often with my husband and two children. I enjoy surfing, gardening and humor.
